A new corn maze popped up in North Raleigh a couple years ago! Crossroads Corn Maze offers one of the biggest and more complicated corn mazes that I’ve ever done, plus a mini maze for the kids, hayride, and fire pits for s’mores. It’s a great little farm with lots of Fall fun right in the city!
Crossroads Corn Maze is more like Ken’s Corny Corn Maze in Garner, where the main attraction is the actual corn maze! You won’t find all of the extras like at Vollmer Farm or Lazy Hound Farm. I think this makes it appeal more to older kids and teenagers, but we have taken our toddlers here the past couple years anyway. They have enjoyed getting pumpkins, riding the hayride, and running through the mini maze. Sometimes we also buy a little treat from the vendors and one time a fire truck was there!
Corn Maze
As I mentioned previously, this is one of the harder corn mazes I’ve ever done. It probably didn’t help that we completed it with a baby in a stroller (do not recommend), and all three of our kids were under the age of 4. Getting trapped with my crying baby is not on my top list of things to do! Luckily the owners monitor your progress with a flying drone, so if you are really stuck you can call for help!
I don’t remember how long it took to complete the maze, but we finally emerged victorious. There’s an extra challenge to find hidden objects along the way, but we didn’t find all of them. Mama was just ready to get out after a while!
I’m looking forward to trying this maze again when the kids are older. The challenge is fun when you don’t have a screaming baby in tow!
Mini Maze
The Mini Maze was much more my speed. It was small, but my toddlers enjoyed running through it over and over! We made it a race for even more fun!
Hayride
The hayride was everyone’s favorite. We got a great view of the whole farm, and the owner was super friendly and told us all about their family and history with starting a corn maze. It’s a great family-run business, so you’re supporting local when you visit!
The hayride is also a legit hayride with lots of hay! It’s not just a wooden seat like you’ll find at Vollmer farm, although it is uncovered. My kids enjoyed throwing hay all over themselves and they were absolutely covered by the end!
Fire Pit
The fire pit is usually running if you’re there in the evening. They have night corn mazes from 7-9pm, so bring a flashlight! You will need to purchase items for s’mores separately, or just enjoy the fire crackling on a crisp Fall night!
Tickets and Pricing
Your admission price includes the corn maze, hayride, and one pumpkin to take home with you! Currently, children are $12 and adults are $15.
Ah-MAZE-ing Pet’s Day
Crossroads Corn Maze is also one of the very few Fall activities that is pet friendly! Bring your fur-baby during the dates below, and they can walk the stalks with you! Pets must be on a leash and owners are responsible for their pets and cleanup.
Friday, October 30 (All Day)
Saturday, October 31 (All Day)
Sunday, November 1 (All Day)
