Let me tell you about the best kids gymnastics class I’ve ever been apart of…. GymCarolina most definitely surpasses any other gymnastics class I’ve had my kids take in the triangle. You can tell the staff knows what they’re doing and they love their job!

She was as impressed as I was that my 3 year old jumped over the blue block!

Organized and Energetic Classes

The class was extremely organized even though we had a large group. We signed in at the front desk in the small lobby and then were ushered into the gym. We started with a circle time and then the staff broke us up into smaller groups to complete different stations.

Helping the kids learn to flip!

Friendly and Enthusiastic Staff

The facilities were amazing! They have every gymnastics equipment you can think of! I’m no gymnastics expert, but the GymCarolina teachers were knowledgeable and great with the kids. They were enthusiastic and friendly, which helped the kids feel comfortable. What I loved the most was that they did most of the movements with the kids, instead of just telling them what to do!

Look at that face of glee! She made my daughter feel so comfortable!

During our stations we participated in floor work like skipping, jumping, tumbling, and rolling. Then we walked the balance beam and did some bar work. After that, the kids took a turn on the swinging rope and were able to jump in the foam pit. Everyone got a turn on the trampoline, and then were able to play with the parachute at the end of the class. We were participating in a sample class, so your class may contain more or less of those activities.

My kids always love the trampoline!

Parent Viewing Area

Our class required parent participation, but they have a viewing area for parents in the loft area above the gym so you can watch your child participate in class. This is also where they host camps and birthday parties so you have access to a seating area for eating cake and whatever else you may need.

Parachute time is always a favorite!

You can view GymCarolina class schedule information here and birthday party information here. I haven’t been to a birthday party here, but I bet it’s similar to the intro class we participated in. And the party price is pretty reasonable for 15 kids! It’s a great option for those winter birthday parties that need to be indoors!

If you’re looking for other birthday party venues be sure to read through our list of reviewed spots in the triangle!
