Bunny Hop Parade
The Easter Bunny is having trouble delivering eggs this year. That doesn’t mean he will miss your home, but just in case, he has decided to visit residents (at a responsible social distance) to deliver some fun to the children of Knightdale neighborhoods on Thursday morning, April 9, 2020, between 9:00am and 12:30pm.
That’s right! The Easter Bunny has chosen to visit Knightdale, and will be riding in a Parks and Recreation Town truck, guided through Town by the Knightdale Police Department and Knightdale Fire Department. The mini “Bunny Hop Parade” will begin at Harper Park, ride down First Ave, and continue through the following subdivision roads:
- 9:15am Knightdale Station – Silverliner, Carolinian, Sunland, Heartland Flyer, Twin Star, Silver Comet
- 9:35am Emerald Point – Aquamarine, Gem, Zircon
- 9:45am Beaver Dam – Knollcrest, Allendown, Hinton View, Hope Valley
- 9:55am Edenburghs Keep – Edenburghs Keep, Clematis, Cassia

- 10:15am Lauren’s Way – Widewaters, Delta River, Beddingfield, Pine Acres, Trailstream, Riverbirch, Oak Crest
- 10:40am Princeton Manor – Princeton View, Peachtree Town
- 10:50am Mingo Creek – Mingo Bluff
- 11:20am Cheswick – Ranchester, Hauser Lake, Lena
- 11:30am Churchill – Churchhill Glen, Twin Spires, Sunday Silence, Old Rosebud
- 11:40am Glenmere off Smithfield Road – Poplar Summit, Spruce Pine, Highland Ridge
- 11:45am Glenmere off Fayetteville Road – Cedar Pond
- 12:00pm Flowers Road to Kelly Meadows Road
- 12:10pm Sycamore to Second Street
- 12:20pm Carrington Woods – Crosstree, Balaster, St. John, Southhampton, Brookfield, Carrington
- End at Harper Park
These are estimated times of arrival – depending on traffic and other variables. We will make sure to announce the Easter Bunny’s arrival with Police and Fire Department sirens and horns. However, in order to honor Governor Coopers Social Distancing order the bunny will not stop, but will slowly drive by, waving to all the children along the way. He has to make sure he gets back home to get ready to deliver Easter Eggs to as many children as possible!
