I’ve been wanting to take my little girl for mommy and me pedicures for a while now. I heard that Beverly Nails Spa in the Falls Pointe Shopping Center in North Raleigh had children’s sized pedicure chairs, so I figured this was a great place to start!

Call Ahead or Walk in

I called ahead and made an appointment for my daughter and myself to get pedicures, but it wasn’t really necessary. It may be a good idea if you plan on going during peak times, but we went on a Friday afternoon at 4:30pm and it wasn’t busy at all.

Kids Pedicures at Beverly Nail Spa

My daughter LOVED her pink bear chair, and I loved that it was the perfect size! I also loved that the kids pedicures were cheaper than the regular adult prices, but she still got pretty much everything I did with the classic pedicure. They gave her a complimentary drink, trimmed her nails, rubbed lotion on her legs, painted her nails, and let her pick out nail stickers for her big toes. She was so excited to get a white flower on each big toe!

Overall Experience

I don’t get pedicures very frequently, but I was happy with the experience at Beverly Nail Spa. The only negative is that all of the kids chairs are grouped together. We had to sit across from each other instead of side by side. However,we were still close enough that I could talk to her easily. She obviously didn’t mind since kept looking up at me with a big grin on her face!

My daughter also had to wait on me since the kid’s pedicure takes less time than the classic adult pedicure. Because of this I don’t think I’ll be taking my 3 year old until she’s a bit older. She’s just not that patient with waiting! However, my rule-following 5 year old did great!

Overall it’s a great Mommy and Me outing if you’re looking to bond with your daughter! Beverly Nail Spa is open every day from 9am-7:30pm, except on Sundays when they’re open 11:30am-6pm. I love that they have more extended hours than most nail salons in the area!
