As if 2020 couldn’t get any more depressing, we just received news this week that the NC State Fair and the Raleigh Christmas Parade have been cancelled for 2020.

Scheduled for October 15-25, the NC State Fair has been a Raleigh favorite for years. This is the first time they have cancelled the fair since World War II. Organizers announced the cancellation this week and stated they are already working on a bigger and better fair for next year, scheduled October 14-24, 2021. As for the Raleigh Christmas Parade, it will be going virtual this year. On November 21, 2020, tune in to the live stream for all the fun from the comfort of your own home.
