Get ready for the craziest game of mini golf you have ever seen! Par Tee Shack near Garner takes indoor mini golf to a whole new level with exciting and unique obstacles at every hole, including a zip-line, pinball machine, batting cage, school bus, and foosball table all incorporated right into the course! Hubby and I recently went on a date night and had a great time working our way through the yellow and blue courses. We enjoyed our time without the kids, but if your child is old enough to play putt putt they will love this place! There’s something new at every turn so you definitely won’t get bored!
Three Courses to Choose from
There are three separate mini golf courses to choose from, and unlike the outdoor centers like Adventure Landing and Frankie’s Fun Park these are all indoors. I’ve never seen mini golf indoors before, so it’s a great way to beat the heat on those hot summer days!
Yellow Course
The yellow course is the most exciting, so if you can only do one course I recommend that one! It has the foosball table, batting cage, pool table, and the zip line. It took us about an hour to complete the course because it was so popular and we had to wait for the group in front of us to finish. The waiting wasn’t that bad though because we got to watch everyone else try the crazy obstacles before we did!

Blue Course
The blue course is the next most popular because there are Marvel superheroes scattered throughout the course. We golfed with Hulk and Spidey, and ended with trying to see how a golf ball works in a pinball machine. The most exciting part was playing mini golf inside of a real bus in the center of the room! This course wasn’t as popular as the yellow course, so we flew through it without waiting. It took us about 30 minutes to complete.

Red Course
We didn’t try the red course, but it looked like a pretty basic course. I didn’t see any extravagant obstacles here, so this is more your run of the mill mini golf course.
Extra challenge
A lot of the mini golf holes had an extra mischief spinner with challenges you could add on for more fun. This is a great way to keep the course exciting if you return for round 2 or 3! Honestly, we will definitely be going back since it was such a great place for indoor fun!
Concession Stand & Free Extra Activities
At extra perk at the Par Tee Shack is the free extra activities in the back. There are lawn games available like disc golf, cornhole, and pool tables that are completely free! There’s also beer and wine at the full service concession stand, so you can grab dinner, play a round of mini golf, and then hang out playing lawn games afterward. The bar gives you your drink in these little caddies so you can easily carry them around the course with you.

Mini Golf Pricing
Your first game costs $12 and each additional game is $6. We started out with one game and then decided to add on one more. Honestly, if all you did was the yellow course your whole family would have a “ball,” literally!! We plan on taking our out of town guests there this Summer since it’s such a fun, unique spot to hang out!
Sometime this summer they will also install some TruGolf simulators. You can play a round of golf like the pros on some of the most famous golf courses in the world or compete in virtual games such as soccer, baseball, football and arcade-style games like the popular zombie dodgeball.
