Here’s the epitome of “lazy parenting” parks for toddlers! You probably have no idea it’s there, but there’s a small, enclosed, rubberized playground with benches for mom right in the middle of the plantation point shopping center off Capital Blvd. It’s located in the parking lot in front of Rising Sun Pools and Spas. This is a park where you can just sit back and relax, which is rare when you have kids aged 2 and under!
One of my friends told me about this place a few years ago when her twins were 2 years old. This is the perfect place to let the young toddlers play because everything is low to the ground. They can reach it all by themselves and can’t really fall and get hurt. The park also has a flat rubber surface so no worries about baby eating mulch! 😝 It’s also convenient if you want to walk over and take a class at Romp N Roll before or after!
Negatives are that there’s not really a designated bathroom, but I’m sure one of the local businesses would let you use theirs. My 4 year old also got bored pretty fast, so this is definitely geared toward the two and younger crowd! It’s a small park for small kids!
Plantation Point has also started hosting some events lately, so check their calendar of events to see if anything fun is coming up soon!
For my other favorite park for kids aged 2 and under, be sure to visit Brier Creek Park!
