There’s one lone inflatable bounce house left in Raleigh (not counting Bungalow Bounce in Clayton), but I can definitely see why it beat out all the other competition! Pump It Up is already a fantastic place, and they’re almost tripling their size this summer for even more family fun! You’ll definitely want to check this place out if you haven’t already!
2020 Expansion and Remodeling
I’ll let you in on a secret, I wrote this review back in March when we visited Pump It Up right before the COVID-19 shutdowns. I held onto it because what was the point of posting an awesome place that no one can visit?! I’m happy to announce that as of September 1, 2020 Pump It Up is back open for business! They are offering private playdates at $59 for up to 5 kids. They are also hosting virtual learning childcare camps and Toddler Time camps for 2 and 3 years olds during the day. Check their calendar for more information on how to book your visit.
In addition to being back open for visits, Pump it Up also expanded their play space and almost tripled their size during the closures. We haven’t been back yet, but we have a few sneak peek shots of the new soft play structure they have built, which looks very similar to Galaxy Fun Park in Wake Forest!
Inflatables
Pump it Up has 3 whole rooms filled with inflatables! From jumping pads, slides, climbing walls, and basketball, they have it all! I love that the area is contained and there’s plenty of seating for the parents. I also felt like it was well cleaned, and a safe, enclosed space for my kids to run around.
During normal operations, open jump is every weekday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Friday’s have special discounted admission, and adults always play free. Get the current hours and rates on their website here.

Inside one of the play rooms, there’s also this indoor cyclone simulator. It is NOT free and requires cash to play. Of course the kids wanted to go inside of it the whole time, whether it worked or not!
They also had this air hockey table, which WAS free! The kids could play as much as they want and my toddlers worked on their hand-eye coordination most of the time we were there. My only complaint is that they spent the majority of their time playing that instead of running around and burning some energy! Although this could be lots of fun for the adults too!
Birthday Parties
Pump it Up is also a great place to host parties! With multiple party packages, there’s lots of options for fun! Although, I do feel like the party packages are a bit on the expensive side compared to other places in Raleigh, but I’m also the mom that has parties at home as long as I can to save costs!
