200 South Main Street, Rolesville
We ventured slightly out of Raleigh today with a review of the playground at Main Street Park in Rolesville. This park is super cute, divided into 2 playground areas – blue and green. It’s partly shaded, but not completely. There are covered picnic areas you can rent easily online and a short walking path to take your toddlers exploring. There’s also a nice large gazebo, which we saw being used for pictures, or just if you need to relax.
If you are in the area, definitely check it out!! And this super cute playground may be worth the drive for those of you looking to check out something new. It’s a little hidden with no visible sign but it’s right off main street and close to Party Delights and other shopping and restaurants!
Parent tip: The playground area is divided into 2 sections. You can sit in the middle and see sections of both but definitely not all of both play areas. So watching multiple children who want to be on different areas could be problematic. It can also get pretty muddy in the big field between the playgrounds when it rains, so watch out or bring a change of clothes.
Main Street Park also has clean bathrooms available and there are lots of covered picnic areas, so bring a lunch and enjoy!!
